9 Days Tanzania Adventure Safari Combined Zanzibar

Day 1:

Karibu Tanzania – Welcome to Tanzania. On arrival at the airport you will be met by one of our staff members. After greet and meet services he will escort you to your accommodation in Arusha (approximately 60 Km) ready for the safari tomorrow. The lodge is perched on the slopes of Mount Meru with magnificent view of the mountain. Overnight at Kibo Palace hotel or Similar accommodation. Breakfast included.

Day 2:

After breakfast, you depart for Lake Manyara National Park (approx 130 Km) with en-route views. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, A beautiful park, Lake Manyara contains a diverse range of habitats and topographical features ranging from the rift wall, ground water forest, acacia woodlands and open grasslands to the shores of Lake Manyara and the lake itself. Have afternoon game viewing in the park searching for the diverse flora and fauna of the park. There are some 350 different bird species in the park. The park provides sanctuary to a variety of animals such as the gazelle, impala, buffalo, wildebeest, hyena, baboon, giraffe, hippo and the famous tree-climbing lions that are unique to the Lake. The park is generally recognized for its incredible beauty. Overnight at Tloma Lodge Mid-range lodge or Similar accommodation. All meals included Drinking water.

Day 3:

The legendary Serengeti Plain is your destination today (210 km), a vast rolling plain whose sparse vegetation allows for some of the best wildlife viewing in the world. The annual migration of wildebeest and zebra is one of the park’s great attractions, but throughout the year the Serengeti National Park is excellent for seeing predators such as lion, leopard and cheetah, along with elephant, giraffe, hyena, hippo, rhino, and many varieties of antelopes and birds. Depending with animal movement we can arrange packed lunch or go back to the lodge for hot lunch. The evening is free to rest. Overnight at Kati Kati Tented Camp or Similar accommodation. All meals included Drinking water.

Day 4:

If you rise early you can take a morning game drive through the park to see the nocturnal predators returning from their nightly hunt and very active animals waking up in the early morning light. Depending on the time of year and the migration of the herds, you can expect to see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes, birds and other species.

We enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing drives on the vast Serengeti plains. In the early morning and evening light, the Serengeti landscape is stunningly beautiful. The Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, including more than three million large mammals. The park is one that can never disappoint. One is spoilt by the variety of bird and wildlife species in this game reserve. Depending with wildlife movement, we can have hot lunch at the Kati Kati Tented Camp or Similar accommodation or enjoy picnic lunch packets. All meals included Drinking water.

Day 5:

After breakfast, we descend some 610 meters into the Ngorongoro crater, which is home to an abundance of wildlife and a photogenic paradise, for a full day of game viewing drive with picnic lunch at a private scenic site (hippos pool). Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world teams with an abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Prides of lions, herds of Cape buffalo, impala, Thompson gazelles, rhino, golden and black-backed jackal, zebra, cheetah, leopard and the spotted hyena freely roam on the crater floor plains. Unmatched for its natural variety and breathtaking beauty, there are few places on earth where such a tremendous diversity of landscapes exist inside a region this size. Apart from its wildlife riches, the crater is also home to hundreds of bird species, refreshing in the small lakes in the crater floor. In the evening, we drive back to Ngorongoro Farm House or Similar accommodation for overnight stay. All meals included Drinking water.

Day 6:

You leave the Ngorongoro Area for Arusha (Approx 195 Kms). Here you can explore the city, go shopping for souvenirs or just relax. If you want we can organize an optional program like the visit of a Masai Village or the Snake Park. This will however depend with your flight to Zanzibar this afternoon. Proceed to the airport for your evening flight to Zanzibar. The flight to Zanzibar take approx. 1 ¼ hours and upon arrival our meet and greet representative will meet you and escort you to your Beach hotel for check-in for 4 nights. Zanzibar beach tour is a short perfect trip for relaxing after a safari in the African bush. It combines the magic that is Stone with Zanzibar historical sites. Overnight at Sunshine Hotel Zanzibar or Similar accommodation. Breakfast & dinner included.

Day 7 - 8:

Enjoy free time to relax on the beaches and swim, snorkel or dive in the clear, warm waters. A cocktail and a golden sunset go hand in hand, so be sure to indulge as the sun melts away and day turns to night. In the evening, wander the beaches and the white sands of Zanzibar. Beach volley ball, table tennis and other games are some of the activities to you can indulge in you resort during the days and nights. Breakfast & dinner included.

Day 9:

You can choose the program of today in respect to your flight time. You may opt to relax in the resort or short activities like playing volleyball, kayaking. Later in the afternoon or evening, you will be brought to the airport for your flight to the mainland in time for your connecting flight home. Breakfast included.
